Now What's the Problem??
I couldn't find my other thread on it, but I'm messing with a salamander heater. Last year, I would plug it in, and it wouldn't fire. All it would do is spew atomized fuel for 5 secs and shut down. Went out today and removed the top cove to get a part number off the ignitor. Decided to plug it in, and it fired off. Stuck the cover back on, and it had a second delay before it lit. Let it run a couple minutes, shut down, let it sit a minute, plugged in, same thing, a second delay.
So where am I at here, a faulty flame sensor??

Igniter is goin bad. While your orderin parts be sure to get a fuel filter also. If there is any debris in the filter it causes the igniter to go bad and they are cheap. Once you change all this out you also need to be sure to check and adjust the fuel pressure. I just had to do all this to mine back at the beginning of the winter.
