I'm pretty dang excited! It's a LONG LONG ways from southern tenn tho ... they are gonna think i'm the dumbest chick they have ever met ( due to my accent which is very very heavy)

The military considers it overseas because it's not connected to the lower 48. Hawaii is also. They're both part of PACAF command in the Air Force which is short for Pacific Air Force. Korea, Japan, and I believe Guam are also part of this command.

 

two years in a logging camp between anchorage and juneau just outside of yakutat with wife and kids working for thomas logging loved it would go back and might some day

Congrats!!! I'm super jealous. I just got my orders for Mountain Home AFB, Idaho. Whats his AFSC? And if ya'll need some one to show you around or a place to stay let me know. My grandma lives there.
