Just ordered a Droid for myself, well Steph did, Danny as long as I have verizons unlimited data plan for my droid I can do this w/o a bunch of extra bills right? No limit?

 

might want to check with them.. most likely if you do not have tethering you will be charged

 

They want you to pay $50 a month extra, on top the $30 for teh mobile net to do it right. This thread is about skipping all that...

 

it all depends on how the software connects, they usually have 2 systems, the WAP system your phone runs on and the ISP system tethering rely's on, I believe hey use different proxy's it's usually a thin line of getting away with it or not. some they can tell your tethering and sometimes they can't

 

I have had no increase to my bill, and i have the G1/mytouch mobile phone plan from t-mobile which includes unlimited gata
