Scam. Found one like that a few months ago concerning a John Deere 4300 tractor with 200 hrs. Had front end loader, back-hoe and every conceivable attachment thrown in on the mix. $4500.00 (should have been closer to $30,000) and that included shipping and handling(?), full refund if not satisfied, yada, yada, yada, paypal, yada, yada, yada. All the way over in Oregon. I contacted them. They said they were 2 women that had it on a horse ranch and downsizing the ranch or something like that. I asked for their address cause I already had the trailer hooked to the truck and $4500.00 cash in my pocket and would be there in 2 1/2 days! Never heard from them again.

We will use eBay protection program for our safety and for payment I prefer to use an eBay safety Bank account. You have 7 days to inspect the truck and I get the money after you make sure everything is ok and decide to keep it. If you don't like the truck and want to return it, I will arrange to ship it back (on my costs) and you will be 100% refunded by ebay. I'm sure you will love the truck and don't want to return it but it's good to know that you have this option available. I just need your full name and address so I can open a case. You must know that eBay will contact you without any obligatiaon to buy it or fees.

Everything was good till this part. Now it's very easy to tell it's a scam.

"$7900 includes shipping and handleing"- normal people don't talk this way. Shipping a vehicle is expensive and a lot of work.

"Bangor, Maine and from here the truck will be shipped"- Why ship it in the move, then ship it from there.

"We will use eBay protection program for our safety and for payment I prefer to use an eBay safety Bank account."- E-bay doesn't have a protection program or bank account.

"If you don't like the truck and want to return it, I will arrange to ship it back (on my costs)"- No one does that, too much risk and costs a lot to ship back.

"I just need your full name and address so I can open a case."- Noone talks like that again and egar to get everything rolling

"You must know that eBay will contact you without any obligatiaon to buy it or fees."- No they won't. e-bay is just a website, they don't get involved in fees other than for the seller.

scam scam scam scam

Yeah I pretty much knew it was a scam because there was absolutely no info regarding the questions I asked her in the original email...

This is a common Craig's list scam. You'd think by now they would have given up as people are wise to being scamed but the criminal mind never rests.
