I also do need to tell ya that I changed my diet....I eat about one third of what I used to and I try very hard to only eat quality foods...............I have never liked nor ate suger type items like cake cookies and sodapop but I was high into processed foods..........I mostly eat good stuff now

Dr. Evil you are just old and fat like the rest of us! Learning how to run is the best way to loose a middle.
Get some real runners from a real running shop, not the super stores.
Get a program or go with a group of beginners.
Start something like 5 minutes of walking and 30 seconds of running.
Over 10 or 12 weeks increase this interval so that at the end it is 10minutes of running and 1 minute of walking. Keep that interval and do it for 60 minutes and you have just learned how to run 10km.
Anyway get out there....
