Its coming, but not in our lifetime that is.... Only 2 other countries do not use the metric system besides the US.... Myanmar and Liberia.... I don't want it but like I said it will sooner or later.

Believe it or not - it is much easier to work with and is more precise.

Guess I have to throw away 10 sets of Imperial wrenches...

I wish everyone would get on one ship with measuring systems....

This is a small conversation from work one day " can you pass me a 5/8th's... no , it must be 16mm , this doesn't fit, 16mm is too big... ohh , this is a FIAT tractor, so , uhh , bring me the vise grips..."

Hahaha... FIAT.

So, let me ask you Canucks, how long is a standard stud? Because when I've worked in Canada, buildings were still built with imperial.

I use Robertsons on decking, mostly because they drive so much faster, but for biulding homes they're too expensive to use everywhere.
