ok gotta quick question......how long after a girl breaks up w a guy should u wait to ask her out......ive known the girl in question for about a symester and have always been respectful of the fact she has had a bf ....she dated the guy for 4 years and he was her one and only i guess they broke up bc he basiclly treated her like **** in general. today at a hall meeting for a dorm she sat by/half on me and we wer touching eachothers thighs and arms and really seemed to hit it off. she barrelraces and also races mx so we talked for almost 2hours after everyone left and i got her number (finally) am i miss reading the situation or should i go for it or wat do u ladies think. thanks in advanc.andy

Yea, rebound guy can kinda suck, or not. If you know what I mean. The girl needs reassurance that she's still desirable. She has a lot of conflicting feelings going through her head. Take her out, let her move at her comfortable pace, then when you get the “good vibe” tap that thing.

Then you need to be her friend first because eventually friends can be friends with benefits if it is right. That way you know it's you and not a rebound thing.
