Rahm asked me to get the following word out to you about an important, immediate opportunity for veterans, members of the National Guard and Reserves, and their families to acquire or hone business skills.
The Veteran Center (TVC), a nonprofit organization established by Congress in 1999 to equip veterans for careers in business, has set up a pilot project to offer more than 1,000 online courses - free of charge - in business, entrepreneurial, and career skills to veterans and their families. These courses are especially useful to those who are looking to start or expand their own businesses. The pilot project runs through October 15, 2005.
