Also check you r breaker box, being an old house, if you have a small leak somewhere, the constant running of the water may have kicked the breaker, try this, go through the house and make double sure that all of the faucets are tight, then reset the breaker, wait about 15 minutes and see what you have then. also, if you cold water reserve tank is in the basement or crawl space, you can get a good idea where the well is by checking the direction of the water lines that running "Into" the top of the tank, see where they exit the house and then check the yard in that direction, if it leads to the concrete housing then that would probably be your well. Aroung here they usually put the well in the front of the house and the septic tank in the back.
I hope this is helpful...
Good luck with that.

If all else fails there is always your local government records you can check. They had to have a permit when they put the well in and that has to have exact locations on it. Typically the well is gonna be right around the yard area in plain site but that can change if your in a dry area. They may have had to drill were they found water and run pipe to get it to the house.
Someplace in the house you are gonna either have a pump or have electrical wires going out of the basement or crawl space. If it's a pump the pipes leading to it will tell you what direction to start looking and if it's wires, One set of those wires may be the main power for the house but any others will be a dead giveaway for you well pump.
Your most common issues here are the well is dry, the pressure switch is bad which is the most common problem and a simple fix, or the pump is shot, the most expensive fix.

you may find a metal cover, shaped about like half a soccer ball.... a lot of times folks plant a bush to hide them from view. over time they get totally concealed and unless you know where it is, tough to find. follow the pipe direction out of the house as stated above, and look to see if there is a random bush just plopped in the middle of the yard. check in there for the well head top. looks like this :

Wow. You guys are going to start to smell bad in a few days. LOL
Go next door and ask the neighbours. They may or may not
be able to help with the well location. They may also be able
to provide some history as well if they have been friends with
the previous tenants. If it's run dry you'll have to wait for some
good rain I guess. Friends over on the Island used to run out all
the time until they learned how to use water conservatively.
Good luck, and hope you have some good deodorant.

Look for a 6-8" round pipe sticking up a few inches out of the ground with some piping and electric wires; kind of like the other persons picture. In Canada or anywhere it freezes, I would suspect that it should be protected from the weather by a structure of some sort. (A little outhouse type building or maybe at the backside of the garage)
Commonly around here our wells have a big blue or galvanized pressure tank or a upright storage tank.
Good luck finding it.

we found it, it was the round cement thing down at the bottom of the property, the landlord locked us out of the pump house fuse box control area, thats another 1000 sq feet down there,, holy snap , this house just gets bigger and bigger.. so the pump, funace, hot water tank and more waser and dryers are down in this area... wonder what we where suppose to do if the power blew.. so yea we took the bolts out of the hinges and got in there,, the pump wasnt working right cause of the level in the well, I showered yesterday so i dont stink too bad,, if i m quick we have enough to have a quick shower.. better not though,,, i might get in trouble from the costaphos,, I was a little bus with the water yesterday,, its probably my fault is all gone.... that will learn me,,,
