Finally got me a new Laptop Computer.

Dell
Intel Dual Core
3GB RAM
250GB HD

$599 Tax Free at Best Buy on Saturday.

Now im trying to decide on which Security Software to use. The computers currently using Nortons Internet Security and the computer is still very very fast. Everyone says Nortons bogs computers down but with Dual Core process and 3gigs of RAM you dont even notice it running. Question is should I continue to use Nortons or trying something like AVG?

Ya I had been looking at a laptop for sometime. This computer had been $849 then $699 and then this weekend it was $599 plus no tax. Today the price went back to $699.

can`t stand norton as older versions let a backdoor virus thru
I use avg 8 which has anti virus,anti spy ware,anti root kit,e-mail scanner,link scanner,web sheild, and a resident sheild

avg free version 8 all the way, filehippo has it right on the front page, as does it have firefox 3.0..... nice deal on the lappy, I snagged one a while back was 399 on sale and slammed em with a competitors coupon for another 100 off . I actually have it plugged into my desktop monitor and keyboard and also a wireless mouse.
