I think more personally. i couldve swore when i first joined here it was 150 posts, but i dont think it was i was just never given a password. At least 20 and maybe more.

Ok im a super new guy here never owned a diesel and its not my dream to own one im Big Blocks For Life ...do i like diesel heck yes i do...i dont know a lot about them but i do think nothing sounds better then a 12 valve.... do i like this site not 100%... im on it everyday tho... Me being new i thought i would just say the things that are driving me away is that there is NOTHING for transmissions idk if im just not seeing it but some transmission information i think would be a gods sent? Another thing is having something on here for gas engines there are alot of people out there that are huge diesel fans that drive a gaser pickup and what forum are they going to use if they need help not this one and i think if there is room for non diesel topic stuff like the badlands then why cant we have a little something for gas engines .... idk this is my opinion and im just trying to help

 

You're right, I think the site could use a transmission/driveline section... I don't see why not. Though, we probably need to clean up some other areas and remove sections before adding more.

As for adding a gas section... meh. This is DIESEL BOMBERS, it's pretty self explanatory what you're going to get here. If you wanted to post questions in one of the off topic areas about gas help, I'm sure you'd get some responses, but I don't go over to F150.net to ask about my powerstroke either, know what I mean?

Agreed, but the site isn't the opposite of those things. I mean the main point of this forum is to talk about diesels.

I suppose if there was some decent interest, it could be a sub section somewhere!? I'm not opposed to it, but don't get your heart broke if it doesn't happen as it is a diesel intended site. It wont ever be a main divided section though, there are already dozens of other forums out there aimed at gas stuff, so no need to try and reinvent the wheel here. We need to focus on our diesel tech areas right now (we know they're hurting).

Again, appreciate the input and we will see what we can do. Maybe we will start a poll to see what sections people would like added. Everyone is free to voice their opinions here.

 

Well sounds like we've lost the best Cummins tech guy, and the best 7.3 tech guy. I don't see how that is gonna help this site survive, at least we have plenty of ART

 

Damn, I leave for awhile and this place has gone straight to hell looks like. WTF is goin on. I can't believe all the bitchin about the badlands. Dont ****** go in there if you dont want to! Im gonna find Phil's jerky recipe like I came in here for and head back out I guess. Sounds like this diesel needs some new spark plugs or somethin

Like we've said already, we've tried getting some forums removed etc... IB is really going to have to step in on that one as they have the control do those things, not us. Maybe an admin would, but I'm not even sure if we have an admin here!?
