i cant cook anymore...so i just rely on the food at the DFAC and it isnt the best, so i stroll on down to Ciano's Pizza and get some food, now thats good italian......

 

well if it's any concelation... I burned a pan of water about 8 months ago... Zach loves sweet tea and his mom had just taught me how to make it on the stove( I never even messed with a stove before that) so I decided to make him some before he got home from work and I got side tracked... I have no sense of smell... so about an hour and a half later... I walked to the stove and see a once black... turned BLUE pan steaming... Now I'm not allowed to play in the kitchen by myself...

You need to learn to make "Sun Tea"... I make a new pitcher everyday. It keeps down some of the heat in the house from not having the stove on too...

well... it makes me feel like betty crocker for a few minutes haha no but now I focus on the stove and don't leave it until the tea's done... I might start takin up sun tea... might help on the electric bill by a few cents

 

Myself & my husband are very good cooks & if anyone ever needs any advice we would be happy to lend a hand. No one has ever taught me how to cook I just use my imagination. For example I have a huge veggie garden & was thinkin... hmmm what can I do with the many turnips???? I decided I would slice em brush em with olive oil & sprinkle some montreal steak seasoning on em & then gril em.... omg they were out of this world. Who would have thought to grill turnips of all things????

 

Chad I'm with you... When I was littl eI burned a Hot Dog Boiling it... Set it on th estove cranked it up and walked away... about an hour later I came back to find all the water gone out th epan and the hot dog about 3x its normal size. So I did what any kid would do... Cut off the stove took the pot off the burnner and set it on my moms brand new counter top... Left a REAL nice black ring.... My *** still stings from that one. But with practice I do ALL the cooking at our house now. Steph Trys to cook but bless her heart she plain old sucks at it. And like Logan I'm a fat boy so I gots to eat good!
