Cat C7 block problems

Default Cat C7 block problems

At work we replaced an engine at 112k because the block cracked near the #1 cylinder. I did some research and found its a problem but that's it. The engine was manufactured in '03 and I was wondering if cat would offer any reimbursement in a case like this.

I doubt it, industrial engines seem to not have much of a warranty
