hey i see this is an old post but im trying to figure out 1 how to change the color of the mileage readout and how to get into my stereo to change the color of that

i agree, you dont know what you are missing until you go back to a stock gauge.

i had to repair a friends [stock] cluster in his 05 duramax and i drove it for a few days while he was out and it made me like mine even more now.

 

Well I was messing around inside my cluster today and somehow managed to reset the cluster information to zero. Odometer, hours, trip. All of it now shows zero.

Wonder if this will increase the resale value?

How I did it. Hint, find u15 in one of my photos above. Short the solder pad just above the 5 and to the closest resistor leg.
