Scrap it and get the old Rockford Fosgate stuf....

a set of Power HX2 s with 2 BD1501 amps and you're rockin' hard

rf vs. kicker???? I run alpine personally but Rockford's are only good for fridge magnets. Kicker ( if you can run the power to them) are far better. I think the quality has gone out the door with RF. Although i only run 1k watts to both type S 10 they pound hard as hell!

Rewired them and they still get warm, but not nearly as bad as before. thanks for the help.

I can't agree more, that's why i suggested Rockford HX2's and a BD1502 amp..

Alpine is the top of the line when it comes to sound quality, although DLS are very close runner ups..
