Hey all, Have a huge problem with white smoke iv'e been looking around on the site and Google but iv'e tried every suggestion injectors, fuel lines. smoke is present heavy on start up and stays through run temp and then sticks around some more in'l about 3000 rpm then comes back . I'm stuck! Eventually i am going to make it a fun rig but for now its my DD i tow a fifth wheel daily the truck has 300'552 miles on it more than half where spent towing the trailer on the highway. Valves? How long ago did you replace injectors and o rings?

Around 295,000 miles truck has 300,522 on it now around 3 months i'd say

What do you think about the valves?

 

Not for sure maybe they need adjusted.

hydralic lifters, no adjustmens.


how old is the pump? when was it properly timed with a meter last?

 

I was gonna say I dint think we needed to adjust valves...... yeah sounds like something in timing or pump possibly....... I would shoot at the timing first..cheeper..LOL
