Default 7.3???

could someone tell me what is a dead head fuel system and why do the superdutys only have that problem and also i have heard that the long lead injector is crap????

SD's have it because they don't utilize a regulated return system. Fuel enters the fuel rail and it is never returned. The long lead injector was just meant to reduce cackle... I wouldn't say its crap.

In a dead head system the fuel enters the head and stays there till its used.

In a regulated return system the fuel enters one end of the head and out the other. The pressure is regulated as the fuel exits the head and enters the regulator.

oh i see, im not saying the LL injector is crap i have just heard that from other people but i also heard that #8 injector (LL) wears out quicker due to the low fuel pressure getting to it is there any truth to that???

BTW thanks for the explanations!
