Default Axles used in 94 - 95 F250 7.3's manual and auto trans

New to Fords

What axles where generally used in 94 / 95 7.3 F250's.. Manual and auto trans. I do know a manual trans having 4.10 rear end - but the type of axle isn't known?? Are they most likely Dana ??

well the gears depend. manual vs. auto doesn't automatically mean different gears. 4:10 are a pretty common gear. but i'm pretty sure it is dana. the 250's have that IFS front end and the 350's have the solid dana 60.

the front is a dana 50 IFS in the 250 and a dana 60 in the 350 and the rear is a sterling 10.25

Thanks - guess one of the real questions is are they easy to maintain - bearing packing/change, joints, seals, etc.

my recommendation is to never put any money into the IFS and to buy a D60 for a swap.
