Default Overhead Console Issues

So I hopped in my truck the other morning and the fuel economy avg. and the timer were reset on my overhead console.. And it has reset every morning this week... Anyone else had these type of problems... Hope someone can help.. It is nothing major but I get a kick out of checking my mpg's. Especially since I usually get anywhere between 21 and 24.

Ok i hate to tell you but the Dodge Overheads are never close to actual MPG's. Only way to know 100% accurate is to hand calculate. My 6.7 isnt even close to what im actually getting. How old are your batteries? Your truck start slow?

Man that must be nice. There are alot of Dodges that arent even close to what the overhead says. My 6.7 is usually 5-7 miles off. My 24v is 1-3 off. Is trip mileage reset every day too? Not the one in the overhead but the one in the dash.

no the trip mileage on the dash doesnt reset, nor does the trip mileage on the overhead console... i know what you are talking about on the overhead consoles not being acurate. My cousin has on 06 and his overhead usually reads between 25 and 27. when acutally he is getting around 20
