1987 Flatbed Ford
hey guys im realitivly new to the ford department here being im more of a cummins guy. found this on my local craigslist and wondered if it was a good deal or not? i dont know much about the 6.9s so any feedback is much apreciated. thanks in advance. cheers brad

I guess it all depends on what your looking for. Looks like a perfect farm truck to me.

 

doesnt look to bad, but i am curoious on the 81000 miles thing. looks like a delivery truck. unless all their deliveries were nect door... i cant see that being right.


also it is a good year, last year for the 6.9, first year for the 5 speed, and the better glow plug system.

just hope it is 5 speed. if it is it is worth it.

 

are they anything like cummins were the auto trannys are junk? and honestly i dont know why id get it i dont have like an exact purpose set out for it

its just kind of something id wanna fix up make nice and drive to school? and when i have to use it use it you know? it might sound stupid but its kind of like a toy. some people have four wheelers some people have sleds and well i have diesels haha
