Ran great till this weekend when I was pulling. Randomly it would shut off, going 70 or sitting at a stoplight. It always started right back up but by yesterday it died 6 times in about 20 miles so I parked it. I'm about 90% sure its the pmd saying its last words before it gives up. But for arguments sake what else might it be. Only codes I have are 32 and 33, and I know the ops is about done bc I had to run an aux switch to get the lift pump going again. any comments or advice is appreciated. Thanks

 

Can you swap a known good pmd in there just to verify? I had one go on me recently and the only symptom was a run-away condition. I don't think it ever stalled that I can remember.

 

Sorry I took so long to respond, we moved and the internet company was dragging their feet on transfering my stuff. I don't have an extra, even though I should. I checked the wiring an found a few open wires (possibly was shorting out) I fixed everything and haven't had a problem since. Maybe it just was upset at me from pulling a trailer all weekend. I did get a new code when I checked them after I parked it. Code 35 which is "pulse width error, time short" or something but it hasn't reappeared since I've been driving it. What is the cause of a code 35?
