Power Steering Pump
Do I need to un-bolt the vaccum pump and the a/c compressor and take the whole bracket out to get the p.s.p. out or is there another way to do it? To me, doesn't look like that I can get the pulley puller in there to get the pulley off.

Man, I have done that before, but it is a pain in the ****! You need a power steering pulley puller.pull the pulley then you should be able to get to the bolts that hold the pump to the bracket. Hope you got plenty of patience!

I do. And I have all of the tools but, just wondering if I have to go thru all of that or not. So far, it isn't too bad and I feel like that I can wing it but, possibly on future reference, it will help if the question does happen to come up again.

Stumped!
Changed the power steering pump and still the belt keeps kicking over a notch or two. Checked all the pulleys and they are fine. Can anyone help?

Thanks. I am thinking that it may be the idler pulley. Tried to get it off with a torx bit but can't. Sooner or later I will. The belt has a bit of slack in it but, in my opinion it should be a little tighter. Only other thing that I can think of is that the w.p. pulley didn't quite go on squarely. Thanks for the input F.D.
