Default Lift pump on a 6.9?

I just found an 84 F250 with a 6.9 and the guy said that the only thing it needs is a lift pump because there's a small leak that lets the fuel run back to the tank if you don't run the truck everyday. What's the easiest and cheapest way to fix this other than the obvious run the truck everyday?

Didn't buy the truck and it was actually a lose injector. Feel free to delete this thread.

a lift pump is not expesive at all, im in canada and mine was like 60 bucks at a local auto parts store, the other thing is they have a tattle tale hole when mine went out it spewed fuel out of the diaghragm hole on the pump, that might not be the same for everyone but it might not be a lift pump
