I have an '05 Dodge, 1-ton, 4x4, Dually, Automatic. I recently spent a boat load of cash getting the automatic rebuilt (twice) and just this past weekend smoked it again. The problem is we didn't have the cash to do it right the first time, hence the "rebuild." Now I've learned my lesson and will bite the bullet to get it right.
I need:
A complete auto-trans and torque converter that will handle up to 1000 lb-ft and still tow a 40ft toyhauler weighing in at 16,000 with a gross combined weight rating (truck & trailer) of 26,500.
I'd like:
The ATS Stage III 2004.5-05 Dodge Ram 4WD Stage 3 Auto Trans Package.
Includes:
- ATS Built 48-RE Auto Trans
- ATS 5 Star Viskus Clutch Drive Torque Converter
- ATS Extra Deep Transmission Pan
- ATS Billet Input Shaft
- ATS CoPilot Torque Converter Lock-Up Controller
