The price seems a little high, especially if it's 2wd. Since you didn't say, I'll assume its 4wd. The '97s are very popular, esp. the f350's, which keeps the price up. With only 144k miles, she should have lots of life left in her if she's received good care. The automatic transmission (E4OD) needs to stay cool, and have regular fluid changes to last longer. See if you can get any maintenance records to give you an idea of the kind of care she's received. Good luck. BTW, my '97 F250 has 202 k, and is still going strong.
