Ok I drive along and then she goes Ford on me. Stereo, O/H lights, and windows stop workng.Then about 3-5 min later they all work again. Looks like I'm losing the Aux power for some reason.I'm just guessing but there must be a relay tripping then resetting. It can't be a fuse. (???can it) I would think that if it was a fuse it would just blow and thats it. Anyway The Stereo/6 disk changer did not work right so I tossed it thinking Maybe a short in that. The same thing happens. I will look to see how the Extra fuel tank switch was wired and the Brake kit to see if anything looks wak. I checked my grounds and batteries tested out ok.
Just a bit about my truck, she is a 2002 7.3 with 86,000 miles, Lariat f350 4x4. All stock but a extra fuel tank and new Stereo. Power seats, cruise, and what not.

All other lights work fine and all the gauges seem to be ok. Any ideas would be great, thanks.

 

Sounds to me like a bad ground...

 

It does to me too. Wish I could find out the problem.

 

Check all the wiring on your stereo... The issue is there somewhere.
