okay i put this here to rack everyones mind, i wanna find a way to make my 5spd manual tranny atleast a 10spd, but i dont want a gear vendor. i thought that you may be able to put a 4spd auxiliary behind my getrag and having double shifters, but can someone send me on the right track to do that?

 

2 speed rear end???

 

Okay, but I didn't know they made rearends that would fit our trucks that were two speeds, so can yall fill me in on this?

 

It wont be a a bolt up application and i dont really know anything more than you prob... just an idea that a welder torch and redneck could prob make work..

 

i was thinking about putting a 2speed rear in mine also but from all the older mechanics that i have talked to they didnt think it would hold but to the tourqe of a newer diesel aand also they are somewhat slow changing gears in my experiance.

Now i like the 4-spd aux. idea that would give me about 20 gears right.
