transmission kicking out of overdrive
Ive got a 98 dodge slt and my overdrive will kick out and go back in while im driving. This happened some time ago and it stopped but now its doing it again. Ive heard it could be a throttle sensor, but i suspect the speed sensor. usually it does this at 45 to 55 mph and if I go faster it stoppes. my throttle position while driving stays the same trying to see if its the throttle position sensor. now it tries it at faster speeds. need some good idea the dealer really didnt have any answers all they wanted to do is put a throttle position sensor and see if it works, that 400 dollars.
try getting a DTT noise sensor from what im reading you have the same problem i had/still have its like 90 bucks for this thing it filters electrical noise. i installed mine and it fixed it. also check all grounds.
