MY 92 F250 ISNT MOVING IT IS RUNNING BUT WHEN YOU PUT IT IN GEAR IT WONT MOVE WHEN I PARKED IT ON THE SLAB IT LEAKED TRANNY FLUID ALL OVER THE SLAB I WASNT DOING ANYTHING BUT MOVING IT AROUND THE YARD BUT IT HAD BEEN SITTING FOR OVER 8 MONTHS AND I HAVENT DONE ANYTHING TO IT . I WAS GONNA CHANGE THE FILTER AND FLUID BUT IM KINDA SCARED TO MESS WITH IT IM KIND OF A TRANSMISSION TARD I WANT TO KNOW WHAT IT COULD POSSIBLY BE SO I CAN DO SOME RESEARCH AND GET AN ESTIMATE ON THE COST.THANKS GUYS

 

is it completely out of fluid?

could be the front pump seal went and leaked it all out -- won't move w/o fluid and putting more in would likely just leak back out

actually im not sure its on the bottom of the dipstick the guy i bought the truck from put the banks turbo on it (it was origanaly a non turbo) he says there are some banks parts in the transmission i have no idea what he was talking about i thought a shift kit maybee but i dont know he just said that the trans has a banks kit in it i didnt think that banks made anything for the transmission and it really didnt concern me it wasnt a determining factor in the purchase of the truck and i actually planned on having someone go through the motor and tranny so i could trust it on trips truthfully i bought the truck to lift up so im gonna go through all of it and put a stait axle up front i planned on puttin this truck together with all new parts
