Any Opinions???
Has anybody here ever wrapped their exhaust with header wrap?
I was looking to lower the temps "Around the engine compartment, as well as trying to see if you can get any gains as far as either spooling quicker, etc...
I just wanted some opinions about it???
Thanks!!!!

I am not too worried about increases AFTER the turbo, I am looking to wrap the down pipe after the turbo..I think the increase in scavenging would help the EGT's, as well as reduce the back-pressure? Maybe, but also allow for faster spool-ups?
Ok, so I also need to wrap the tubes going from the turbo to the intercooler, and then from the intercooler to the turbo, correct?

If your running a factory Downpipe and Charger the pipe should be wrapped already with a more than adequate wrap. They make covers for the charger that may help some , but between the hassle and busted knuckles, I cant say you would see any advantage to it!

Charger? Intake? If that is what you mean, then no sir, it is a K&N with metal tube, and an almost open box and I am also trying to close up the outside of it too. it has too much access to the engine bay heat. I also want to acces the flow of air from the of the truck when rollin'
