Default Trailer Brake Problem

Trailer brake problem
I have a sixteen foot metal trailer that I haul my 2003 Rubicon Jeep on. The trailer is about a year and a half old. It has 4 wheels and electrical brakes. Last week the left front wheel started locking up when I press the brake pedal. It does not matter if I press the brake pedal gently or hard it stills locks up solidly and the same for the brake controller. ONLY one wheel involved???
The trailer is pulled by a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 HD.
Lots of good advice is seen on the Forum so I thought I would ask you guys what I should look at?
Thanks,
Jim

does the trailer have ABS on it?f it does it could be a sensor. does it eventually stop after you drive it for a while?the brake components could just be worn out.

Your magnet in there is bad.

Let me change this answer to probably your magnet is bad and not making contact. Nothin is ever a deffinate thing.

Yep, he's right.

Dang'it Uncle Bubba... you beat me to everything! LOL. I can pretty much guarantee if I see a thread with something I think I know the answer to that you've already posted what I was gonna say.
