Default Overflow cap blowing off

I got a 2006 F250 6.0 diesel bullet proof, was in a accident front end pushed in, went to get it from the shop and as soon as I got on the interstate the overflow cap blew off. When truck was In the accident there was no coolant lost or oil. Oil is clean not milky same on the cap. The collision shop is going to send it to Ford Monday to be diagnosed. Anyone ever experienced this?

With a 6.0L, everyone ought to have a 0-20 psi pressure gauge that they can tee into one of the small hoses to the degas bottle. Even a schrader valve would do so that a tire pressure "stick gauge" could be used.

If the pressure is actually 15+ (which is what it would take to blow off that cap), then you would know with the gauge.
