my truck just drinks coolant. its not horrible. usually never goes below the top of that inner radiator thing. just wondering what it could be. my truck has 180k miles on it. i've heard its normal for IDI's to drink a bit. and it may or may not drink oil. the oil goes down once in a long while. maybe two to three quarts between changes

 

if nver been opened up, the oil usage is probly valve seals. from the factory there is none on the exhaust valves.


as for coolant, check your overflow bottle for cracks, also pressure test the cap and system.
