dieselmeken, the om617 and pump alignment for install
someone might find this info useful
when i got my pump back from DM last year, there were two tags with 2 different timing degrees to set everything to. i emailed them and they told me, with a locked pump, set motor to 20*atdc. Now if you watch their youtube video, they instruct to install it at 15*atdc with a locked pump and 24*btdc with the timing marks aligned. I did this and my engine ran like total dog ****. Set it to 20*atdc and it runs amazing. make of it what you will. no idea what the differences are but if youre having a problem with the video, try 20*
