85 Jetta- Coolant Fan Diagram
Does anybody have the electrical diagram for the coolant fan circuit that they can post or maybe possibly draw and post?
AllData keeps showing an A/C relay. I know I don't have that!!
Mine no worky at all.

but you still get a
No A/C. Fan doesn't work at all. Gauge was almost pegged the other day when I was coming home and absolutely no fan.
Unplug the fan and run a ground and power wire directly to it and see if it comes on? If doesn't. you need a new fan. If it does, then my guess is the fan switch in the radiator is bad. The switch should be located on the drivers side of the radiator.
No problem! They make a couple of different temp sensors for those things. I would recommend getting a low temp switch. The factory temp sensor kick the fan on about 210-215deg. Get the switch that turns the fan on about 195-200.
