85 Jetta- Coolant Fan Diagram
Does anybody have the electrical diagram for the coolant fan circuit that they can post or maybe possibly draw and post?
AllData keeps showing an A/C relay. I know I don't have that!! Mine no worky at all. :baby::baby::baby: |

Unplug the fan and run a ground and power wire directly to it and see if it comes on? If doesn't. you need a new fan. If it does, then my guess is the fan switch in the radiator is bad. The switch should be located on the drivers side of the radiator.

Yeah I was just coming back to say I had it figured. I need a new temp switch. Once I found that thing I was a diagnosing fool. lol

No problem! They make a couple of different temp sensors for those things. I would recommend getting a low temp switch. The factory temp sensor kick the fan on about 210-215deg. Get the switch that turns the fan on about 195-200.
