7.3 idi coolant filter install

Quick question. do i just plumb my coolant filter into the hose that comes from the heater core . To the water pump or does it go to the hose that goes to the side of the block.

Usually onto the line that goes from the heater core

I know that.but which one. The one that goes to the water pump? Or the one that goes from heater core to the block.
