Has anyone had to, or know of any tricks to getting the upper park brake cable attached to the pedal? My upper cable snapped and I got it all replaced and ran, but I can't get the little lead cylinder to drop into its hole. Old one came right out and now I'm having a hell of a time getting the new one to get in there. Thanks y'all.

 

That's the hardest part, the only way I know that isn't time consuming is to pull the pedal assembly for it out, then run the wire down from inside the cab

 

You could loosen the adjusting bracket that's under the truck, its the metal bar with one cable connected to one side and two cables connected to the other side. It should be hanging along the outside edge of the frame on the driver side. That should give you a little more length to get it connected. Just make sure to tighten it back up when you are done.

 

Thank y'all, I got it all ran, but I just can't get that damned metal cylinder piece in the damned hole. Got plenty of length and all the. Just gotta fu€|< with it more.
