Hello im new to the forum and to diesel trucks i have a 1988 f250 that has been sittin for 7 years can anyone give me some suggestions on things to go through to get her going any input is appreciated thanks

 

Fresh batteries is a start, check rubber fuel lines and look for cracks as they will suck air and cause for hard start or no start, replace and see if she will start, maybe put 5-10 gallons of fresh diesel in her also, also look for anything that might look out of place or torn up from Mice, rodents , sun, humidity etc, hope this helps

 

Well ive replaced some rubber lines and the lift pump and got good batteries in it my main problem im running into is i get fuel to the ip but nothing from the ip to the injectors and ive checked to make sure fuel shut off solenoid is clicking and it is

 

Have you checked for damaged or frayed wires? also did you check the fuses and relays?

 

Yeah my dad and i have gone through a bit of that but its looking like it unfortuanately is the injection pump
