hello i have a2000 cummins 24 v rollback just purchased recently. Sense buying the truck it is hard to start when first cranking of the morning or after it has been shut off for a hour or two during the work day. I am not very knowledgable on diesel's but seems like it loosing it fuel prime because if you spend the engine over a few cycles (3 to 4 times) it fires right up. It also seems to have a very small fuel leak on drivers side of engine compartment and i can't seem to pin point that leak and I thought that may be my whole problem any ideas would bo greatly appreciated. Also truck has about 119000 miles on it if that makes a diffrence thanks

 

Check the fuel lines and make sure tightened correctly along with the lines going to the injection pump and coming from the tank.
