I just recently purchased a 1998.5 dodge ram 2500 4x4 and plan on using it as a daily driver. Is water/meth injection worth the cost for fuel economy gain? The truck already has a Banks Stinger package installed by the previous owner. The truck only has 157,xxx miles on her. The truck is a manual 5 speed and gets 17.5 to 18 mpg stop and go around town. I do not have any highway trips to check mileage there yet. Thanks for the info and knowledge in advance.

 

I think the money there are better mods than Water/Meth. You also have to continuously refill the tank using water meth. A Camshaft upgrade is less money, and a lifetime of gains.

 

Who would you recommend? I've been reading some really good stuff about Hamilton Cams.

 

Colt Satge 3 or equivalent from Hamilton. I have the Colt Stage 3 "Big Stick" and am very impressed with the differences it made.
