head swap, raises compression?

Question head swap, raises compression?

i just swapped heads on my 93 6.5td to 86 6.2 heads
does anybody know if my comp could have been raised?https://www.dieselbombers.com/images/icons/question.png

Yes, it more than likely went up.... the older 6.2 heads have smaller precups in them, you should have swapped the cups also, the turbo had different cups fur better turbo use... you can use it with the smaller cups, it just might not have the same power but it will run just fine..
