just did my fummins swap i put an auto in it, still have to go through the datalogging still to get the trans to shift perfect. Im kinda getting tired of it but once the trans gets all figured out i want to put a manual in it sometime. i have a 96 f250 and looking for the parts interior wise and under the hood or maybe a place to look that might have what i need to switch over. Looking to do a nv4500 so if you got those parts or wanna trade into a auto ill do that as well. Limme know what you have thanks.

 

ZF6 is what I would install if I were going to step backwards to an auto...

 

Id need an adapter plate then and i know already they aren't cheap that's why I was oping for the nv4500. But then again a 6 speed would be better because of the gearing

 

IMO, the ZF6 sucks. i'm on my second one and still have problems with 3rd gear.

 

I have a Ford trans from an 04 powerstroke its the 5r110 its got less than 1000 miles on it since it was rebuilt. It's got a stronger inner ring on it because they are known to fail, its got a ATS deep pan on it and a triple disc torque converter with bd specs and it has a np273 electric shift transfer case behind if you know anyone who needs one limme know
