Just the way you would think red fuel same color as farm fuel, put a little used oil in and it will be black for ever

That's a good idea. I believe that ATF now days isn't made to burn, it's prob made to stay cooler. But take a quart of ATF and throw it on a fire and tell me it doesn't take off like a bat out of hell. I have a wood burner in my garage, I usually start it with a little bit of oil when I want it to start quicker. But this winter I used about a half a quart of some used ATF from my truck and it took off so quick and strong I couldn't believe It. Not doing that again, oil is way safer.

atf is just as flambe as diesel, thats why fords and alot of other trucks run power steering coolers because they had more than a few trucks burn down
i run atf along with wmo and a little gear oil once in awhile and the only problem i have run into is when i get some wmo that someone ran a cleaner thru their motor to get the sludge out- it will clean my tank and clog my fuel filter with in 10 or 20 miles but i only pay 4bux for a napa gold so its worth it, i also run a fuel pressure gauge

Default Adding ATF In My Diesel Fuel

No ATF goes in trannys that's it. Nothing else... Only ashless 2 cycle should be used in diesel for more lube
