My WVO filtration setup.
Question. On your filter. From the pic it almost looks like your supply and return are both on the top of your filter housing? Mechanically I'd say the way I'm looking at it is wrong? If u get a chance what are the dementions on your filter housing and filter. I've got an idea of how I can get one (housing) but I'm not sure if it will work size wise
Thanks

The filter size is an industry standard, you can just google trade 4 size bag filters. McMaster-Carr should have some dimensions for you. I basically just designed the filter housing around those dimensions. The housing itself is 6" in diameter, and length is just a little longer than whatever the trade 4 bag filter is. I can get you some more exact dimensions later if you'd like them.
As for the flow, oil comes in through the top of the housing on the side. It then goes down through the housing and the filter and exits on the bottom, from there it is fed back into the HWH at the top. It is pumped out of the HWH at the bottom.
It's always been amazing to me that you people persist in messing with that filthy wvo crap when all you'd have to do to run used oil or hydraulic fluid is run it through a 2 micron filter............like I do!!!
That setup looks like something that Rube Goldberg made!!
