Default WVO system components

I want to install a 2-tank WVO system but I’m having a hard time laying out 2-3k for a frybrid or vegistroke. Anyone out there have a good idea of all the parts (best brand names) I’ll need to build my own system? I don’t mind flipping switches and looking at gauges so I don’t think a computerized controller is necessary (you tell me). Does anyone have plans or schematics that would explain the basic layout of the system – I understand every vehicle may be a little different. Any info is helpful and the more technical and comprehensive the better. Thanks!

try fattywagons.com. They have a low cost kit.

You can look at fattywagons, and or shop used wvo products yourself,on Ebay.

If you want to build a system its cheaper.I could convert a truck for about $450 minus the tank.
I would buy a 30 platte heater, injection line heaters, hose in hose, hot fox heated pickup,Water hose two way splitters, and veggie filter.I heat the fuel not the tank, and injection line heaters hook into accesory fuse, so to turn on heaters before engine allowing it to start on veggie or wmo, watf.I run a loop in veggie mode to conserve heat, and no need to return fuel to tank.I use a 5 micron filter first to filter cold oil, then heated pickup, hose in hose,to heat exchanger to lift pump, from IP to injectors line heaters ,to injectors. This will give you 175 degree upon injection or more.
I have 70,000 miles experince on different fuels, best fuel is WATF,its rocket fuel to a diesel. The water hose splitters I use one to select fuels, and one to loop fuels or non loop.Of course at tractor supply,I found fittings to reduce water hose switch down to 3/8s fuel line.

WATF? Is that used tranny fluid? If so I can get a ton of it on my local Navy Base and the auto hobby shop but would'nt it have meatal particules in it no matter how claen it looks? I'm buying my first diesel this Monday and I want to get in WO systems. I have done a lot of research on bio diesel and even made a test batch but I did'nt even think about waste oil untill I joined this forum.

It would help to know what vehicle you'll be doing this on...

I'd stay away from frybrid personally, but I guess I'm "biased" since I'm an avid vegistroke user. Installed several vegistrokes on 7.3's and 6.0's and a vegi-ram on a commonrail as well.

Stay away from VEG POWERED SYSTEMS OF OIAI ! Joel Woolf and his wife will get their hooks in you and milk you for all the money they can get ! they broke my 94 7.3 IDI , I drove it there twice from Redlands Ca 125 mi round trip but after they installed the system the truck would not run and they refused to fix it ... they just made me pay them to release the truck and I had to have it towed 120 miles, thank god I have AAA. Also heard from a guy I met while I was in Ojai that he messed up his truck too....and told him to bring some oil with him and tried to charge him one dollar per gallon to filter it ! I dont care if this guy has been on TV he is a joke and also does business as Woolf Equipment Mobile Diesel Repair. He has no shop and works out of his back yard. He demands money even before he is finished with the job and complaines to his customers about how he needs to pay his Mortgage ! Wonder who will be his victim for next months mortgage ?

When I first met joel I told him I was using a Jabsco Waterpuppy I found laying around. He told me not to share that with anyone just let people find out for themselves ! Since I have recently got into Diesel trucks and going WVO I have people here to be nothing but helpful and I sense the same with most people who are running WVO in their trucks and cars. But Joel and Rebecca are money hungry dishonest people and another person who dealt with Veg Power Systems told me after his install Joel had him bring some oil over once a week and Veg Power Systems wanted to charge him $ 1.00 per gallon to filter it for him ! These people are amazing.

My question is Do you need a business liscence to install these WVO systems ?

Stay away from Joel Woolf and Veg Powered Systems too they ripped me for $ 1,200.00 and broke my truck, I had to have it towed 125 miles.
