They will stop pickups if they think you have been runningit. And if you have a slip tank in the back, pulling a cattle trailer, or hauling hay. At lest they do in Washington because ive been pulled over and had the ol' tail pipe sniffed so have alot of farmer and ranchers.

Around here the highway patrol is cracking down and pulling over anything diesel powered to check the fuel. They have also gone a step further,on top of dipping your tank they will also pull the fuel filter and get a fuel sample. With the way the economy is going they are trying to get revenue anyway they can.:td:

Incorrect. You were getting ULSD from equipment not certified for ULSD yet.
Not in Canada.
Last I checked, Canada didn't have to abide by EPA regulations.
Your Wrong.
If you intend to be correct, it helps to be correct. Try again.
The states of Ca required all diesel sold after June 1 2006 to be ULSD. The EPA rules did require that by June 1, 2006, 80 percent of the highway diesel fuel produced or imported had to be ULSD.
Precisely why ALL diesel from 2006 was ULSD. Shutting down a refinery for upgrades is extremely expensive, when they did it they did it all at once.
how often have you guys been stoped and had you diesel checked?
In the last 8 years, 5 times.
Even once can result in a fine that will make all the money you saved stealing from fellow citizens seem like change from your kid's piggy bank.
the fact that theres no high sulfer anymore just sucks for farmers
Wrong, its extremely good for everyone! Sulfur is a huge source of pollution, less pollution from farmers is less pollution on your food.
