The 12 valve loves it. Should be no problem. I know of a vender here that had a 1st gen 12 valve and he burned his used filtered motor oil in his truck. I don't think you have to worry.

Usually I hear of people using an ounce per gallon. Wal Mart here has deals on gallon jugs of the 2 stroke outboard oil, whats the difference between that and regular 2 stroke ?

That's the effect of used engine oil in a 2-stroke engine.
Think about the lubing abilities of used engine oil- simply not sufficient.

That assuming that you are crazy enough to use WMO in a truck without filtering the hell out of it. This is article is mostly for the use of new 2 stroke/cycle oil in a diesel engine. Using Waste motor oil is something some people do but i will never use it, EVER.

What happened to that cylinder? That's a little more then used oil running in the fuel? Looks almost like it was machined, or ... have you ever seen a plate steel roller, roll over a crow bar? That looks like something was pressed on there rather then gouged? Interesting! Putting used oil mixed with fuel "used" to be a standard practice over here. Like I said it was one of our vendors that does it to his truck. This does not mean I condone the practice.

Trans fluid can be hard on injectors and pumps if used a lot or too much mix. But it is good for a cleanup every 3000 i believe.

Hmm,
the slit is normal in a two stroke engine...
It is a common pratice in africa to replace 2-stroke oil with used engine oil, because 2-stroke is either not available or too expensive.

Of course I know 2-stroke engines and 4 strokes are not comparable. But engine oil can not come close to replace the lubing capabilities of 2-stroke oil.

It seems just just to be a good way to dispose waste oil.

On the other hand the IP has the closest tolerances in the diesel engine.
I have difficulties to believe that there are people using a dilluted fluid in their IP. Even filtered you won't get a clean fluid, or appears the waste oil clear again when filtered?
And we know that particles around 1 micron do the most damage, do we?

Africa is one of the best testing grounds available, because people change oil very rarely, if ever.
The next point is that you never know whats inside the bottle. Showing 10W 40 does not mean it is inside the bottle.
