im gonna start throwin a chunk of Vaseline in my fuel tank....its a lube i know for sure, tested it this morning.

I also KNOW they DO TO still sell LSD and not JUST ULSD. The gas station by my house has it!! It says right on the pump "It is against the law to pump this fuel into a vehicle built after model year 2007"

I also KNOW for a personal fact that running 2 stroke oil does something for my 24v Ram. I will GLADLY take a video of a cold start with and without 2 stroke oil. The sound is completely different. She is WAY quieter with 2 stroke oil. You can actually carry on a conversation next to my truck when i run 2 stroke oil.

 

Thats where I noticed the biggest difference. Quieter driving down the freeway as well. Just a thaught, if you use castor oil will it smell wonderful like the old 2 stroke racing days?

 

I would be willing to bet that if you watched the tanker truck that it's all the same fuel. Federal law required the green sticker about the 2007 engines be placed on every diesel dispensing pump and that's why that sticker is there.

There is no law that the station had to change labels from LSD to ULSD. It's common to get winter blends and summer blends out of pumps not indicating it. It's up to the stations if they label the pump accurately or not as far as the blend.

 

i have tons (500gallons) of used ATF fluid.. should i fill'er up ?

nahhhh, i'm pretty sure it will only be redicilou amount of smoke and no power... and god knows what it will do to my pump...
