Diesel prices will stay high so long as the oil companies keep exporting up to 500,000 barrels of ULSD diesel a day to the EU.

I'm no economist but why is diesel so much higher than gas?One of the reasons I went with diesel awhile back was for the price difference,as far back as I can remember it has always been cheaper and requires less refining than gasoline and my truck gets better mpg.I live in farm country and the price of fertilizer and ground is skyrocketing, sure grain prices are up along with the cost of food at the market and the planting and harvest cost is up thanks to fuel costs. It is going to kill agriculture if the grain markets drop out and the fuel trend keeps going up.Everything in this country is moved by rail, water, and truck.Last I looked, none of these run on water or solar.Keep pushing alternative energy but what about in the meantime. Our country is getting killed here.
I voted for this president twice but apparently he flunked geography(Afghanistan doesn't start with an I)and economics(how much is a dollar worth?) and I can honestly say that next elections' alternatives do not look any brighter to me.I wonder if I can pronounce aboot well enough to fit in up north?

I just paid $3.93 which is less then the $4.29 I paid a week ago yesterday. I have been paying $3.43 for premium unleaded for over 2 weeks.

$1.289/L to $1.329/L = $4.88/G to $5.03/G - Anywhere around $4 is cheap compared to me...
